Our staff and volunteers make the program a huge success
Administrative Staff
All after-school-program staff meet the qualifications specified by Community Care Licensing in California, which includes a minimum of mandatory early childhood education credits.
John
Pabst, the program director, oversees the day-to-day
operations of the program at the main campus from 3 pm to 6 pm, daily and
supervises five teachers and staff. John has worked as a teacher and program
coordinator for 12 years and holds a B.A. in the humanities and a teaching
credential from San Francisco State University.

Roxanne Webb, Up On Top
Site Coordinator at the Unitarian Center, has a degree in Biology from
California State University at San Bernardino. Roxanne has been working with
children for more than ten years. For the past two years she has been the Up On
Top Summer Camp Director, creating for the children 8 weeks of fun-filled summer
adventures.
Nan Parks
McCarthy,
After a long
career in the arts Nan became actively involved in social justice work. She is
one of the founders of Habitat for Humanity here in San Francisco and advocate
for low income families and their children. She is a founder and former member
of the Up On Top board of directors and now its first executive director.
