AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM

UP ON TOP provides a high-quality, tuition-free after-school program for students from low-income families in grades K-5 in San Francisco's Tenderloin and Western Addition neighborhoods.

UP ON TOP creates a community environment with our diverse, dedicated staff, students, families, partner organizations and neighbors. We offer a well-rounded curriculum, including daily academic work, enrichment opportunities (arts, science, dance, writing workshop, acrobatics, etc.), recreational activities and neighborhood field trips.

Our program is offered at the Tenderloin Recreation Center (570 Ellis Street). Our staff safely escorts kids from Tenderloin Community School and Redding Elementary School to program site each day. We serve one meal and one snack each day. Dismissal is at 5:30/5:45pm and students are expected to attend all day, every day.
